This is a very interesting finding from a study conducted from 2000 through 2006 by the California Budget Project.
Basically, the study showed that women in California, while still being paid less than their counterparts, are being given higher raises (5.3%) compared with their male counterparts (1.7%) and are more likely to be employed in such areas as banking and real estate.
We’ve still got a long way to go baby, but maybe not as far as before.
