Here is SHRM’s response to the Keith Hammonds article I spoke about in an earlier post.
I appreciate Susan Meisinger responding on behalf of SHRM members in a very professional manner considering the condescending and insulting tone Mr. Hammonds took in his article. I do wish, however, that she took more of a stand regarding the generalities that were made (particularly around the “sharpest tacks” comment).
Either way, I think the important thing is that SHRM took notice of what was being said about the HR profession and saw it fit to respond.
