A California Appellate Court determined that a broad separation release of claims does not include a release of rights under USERRA.

It’s interesting that both discussions go on to suggest that counsel be contacted when drafting separation agreements. Now being that both sites are crafted by attorneys, I’m not surprised. However, particularly when confronted with cases like this one, I couldn’t agree more.
